Having gone through her own health crisis and learning how to manage her two autoimmune conditions is what motivated and inspired Gena to go back to school and pursue a Master’s Degree in the Science of Human Nutrition and ultimately become a Registered Dietitian with the addition of a CFNC (Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor) and FNLP (Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner) certification. She experienced firsthand how food and nutrition can impact quality of life and contribute to the positive management of chronic health challenges.  Her personal journey brought her to a place of empowerment regarding her own health and wellness and now it is her intention to help empower others. After her own health crisis, and the experiences she has gone through, she firmly believes a person can have an enormous impact on his or her own well-being, state of health, and healing through their nutrition choices. Her mission is to help people listen to their bodies and become their own best health advocate.
